PREMIERE: Sabatoj - I.C.U. (Mike Parker Remix) [Katharsis Recordings]

Cosmic Society, the Berlin-based collective and record label, gears up to unveil a double-feature remix release of Galga's track 'Sold 1.' Having initially debuted as a single two years ago through the same label, this release not only rekindles the allure of the original track but also breathes new life into it through the remixes from Quarion and Anja Zaube.

Anja Zaube's remix, an auditory exploration of her ingenuity, unfurls like a rhythmic odyssey, gradually revealing its layers across an expansive canvas that stretches over an evocative eleven-minute voyage. The track commences with a meticulously constructed foundation, characterized by a deliberate rhythmic cadence punctuated by resonant reverb and the sharp percussive thud of 808 claps, infusing a compelling dynamism into the groove. Yet, it's the gradual evolution that truly distinguishes this rendition. The remix transforms over time, gradually transitioning from its initial rhythm into a contemplative odyssey, emboldened by a vibrating melody and elongated, crystalline pads. This journey is marked by an underlying melancholy resonance, which amplifies its emotional depth and reflective atmosphere.
