BIO - 
After an initial interest in Hip-Hop/Turntablism culture as a teenager, Dschen soon
became attracted by the early Atmospheric & Liquid Drum'n'Bass sound, which led to his first gigs and experiences as a club DJ. This was until around 2007. More than 15 years later the focus of his DJ sets today lies mainly on hypnotic, deep or driving Techno and organic halftime grooves, sometimes merging both styles in the same set through proper track selection and mixing techniques. Current DJ sets are regularly published in his own "Temporary Escape Podcast“ on SoundCloud and YouTube. 

In addition to his activity as a DJ, Dschen has delved deep into the world of modular synthesizers in recent years, following a long phase of experimenting with different production and composition methods. Now his tracks are created as intuitively as possible, often by recording live jams in the studio to capture a special sound aesthetic and authenticity. His debut album “One Armed Statue“ (see below) came out in early 2023 on the Mexican label,  https://soundcloud.com/secuencias_temporales, and embodies this recent artistic development. Focusing on deep, organic Downtempo Techno, halftime tracks and Ambient on the mentioned LP, his upcoming releases will also delve into faster and more driving Techno territory. Stay tuned!

Something that is also cyclical in our podcast collection are the Rescue 137 sessions. Our mysterious collaborator treats us to a new episode of musical archeology and rarities. Unaware of social networks, he only relies on his eagerness to investigate and his fine taste to discover hidden gems of this glorious nineties decade, where we can still find first class material if we keep digging.

Those of you who have been following us for years know that we like to publish the tracklists of our podcasts. Some tracks of note featured worth a mention - the intro, which is a stunning track from Aboutface’s wonderfully titled ‘The Water That Glows Like Dancing Glass Cuts Crimson’ mini-LP, Barker’s excellent deep take on P.A.S. , a lesser spotted Plaid remix, seminal lushness from Mike Golding of B12 notoriety, a cut from E.R.P.’s recent buy-on-sight EP on Apnea, the sexy swing of Adam Curtain’s Garage-esque ‘Noticed’, 2 cuts from Endrew’s essential new EP on Upfront Copy, a Techno-funk classic from the Central boys , 2 cuts from Gerd’s brilliant new ‘Kosmos Tour’ 6-tracker, an oldie-but-goldie from Justin Berkovi, a lovely 90s latin tinged groover from Quazar, and finishing up with mesmerising broken deepness from Function’s latest release on Infastructure.
