This is a very old track of mine made with a combination of guitar, synths, and samples of a noisy coffee machine recorded by Niels.

This started as a recording of a small Stirling engine that is designed to be powered by sitting on a hot cup of coffee. That strange little device turned out to have a distinct, somewhat unusual metrical structure to its cranking sounds.

All instruments except the drum track in this piece were created using manipulations of recordings of a recent trip to College Station, TX. Many are derived from a recording of one of the trains passing through the area.

Electronica featuring two piano parts, each put through a delay line synced to multiples of the tempo. The melodies you hear are half played notes and half what was played in the past. 

This is a hand-made piece. It is not algorithmic unless you consider delay lines as such, which I don't really.

Aliens invade the wild west! They have come armed with theramins and Moog synthesizers (because everyone knows that's what aliens play), so it's time for the sheriff and his men to make a stand.

Space Desperados

A mix of acoustic and electronic instruments.  Equipment used: Larrivee classical guitar, Washburn BB4 bass, Korg nano series controllers (keyboard, percussion, mixer), Cakewalk Sonar X1.

Lobophyllia

A little bird came to sing for me while I had my field recorder handy. This track consists of hand-created and played synth parts along with manipulated bird calls.
