The wind blows cold over the snow-covered plain. From the dense fog, a giant figure slouches out, its long, wavy tusks swaying menacingly, slashing the grey shroud of air as the woolly bulk treads on. In the distance, ice cracks and fractures, echoing in the valley. An eerie screech from above. Huge wings swoop down, sending the fur-clothed man behind a rock, where his hunt mates crouch in expectation, holding spears crowned with black volcanic glass flints. Slowly, the sun's golden rim begins to appear behind a cloud, dispelling the fog. When it's done, the bloody hunt will begin in earnest.
