2021, mitten im Corona-Lockdown, trat Marc-Uwe Kling, Autor von erfolgreichen Büchern wie „Die Känguru-Chroniken“ und „Qualityland“ an die Tentakel von Delphi heran und fragte, ob sie den Soundtrack für seinen neuen Film „die Känguru-Verschwörung“ schreiben wollten. Die Tentakel waren begeistert und schnell wurde klar, dass das für alle Seiten eine sehr spannende Zusammenarbeit werden würde. Anstatt eines klassischen Scores sollte die Filmmusik komplett auf dem Sound der HipHop-Band basieren. Dafür wurde der auf zwei Schlagwerken und Kontrabass beruhende, charakteristische Sound der Band nochmal in eine neue Richtung getrieben. 70ermäßige Soulgitarren, Funk-Rock und ein ziemlich rockiger Abspannsong, bei dem sich auch Frontmann Käptn Peng die Ehre gibt, wurden dem Klanguniversum der Tentakel hinzugefügt.
Peter Bartz (Percussion), Boris Nielsen (Bass, Synthesizer), Hannes Gwisdek (Percussion) und Moritz Bossmann (Gitarre, Synthesizer), besser bekannt als Die Tentakel von Delphi sind seit Jahren nicht nur erfolgreich mit ihrem Sänger Käptn Peng unterwegs, sondern haben immer wieder auch Musik für Filme und Theaterstücke geschrieben. 2014 steuerten sie die Musik für Axel Ranisch´s Kinofilm „AlkiAlki“ bei. Den Soundtrack zu diesem Film haben sie auf dem bandeigenen Label Kreismusik veröffentlicht. 2015 schrieben sie die Musik zum Theaterstück „Der Auftrag“ von Heiner Müller in der Inszenierung von Tom Kühnel und Jürgen Kuttner am Staatsschauspiel Hannover. Die Tentakel spielten auch als Live-Band bei der Inszenierung. Es folgten zahlreiche Vorstellungen und internationale Festivaleinladungen, wie zu den Wiener Festspielen und nach Minsk/Weissrussland. 2019 führten die Tentakel zusammen mit der Schauspielerin Corinna Harfouch eine musikalische Lesung mit Texten von Bertolt Brecht beim Brecht-Festival in Augsburg auf.

Flexi Cuts' sub label Incognito Trax is back with the fourth outing of pure musical pleasure with five tracks from Macchianera, DJ Spranga, BB, Disco 3000 and Delphi. The latter is also part of Tiger & Woods and contributes the B1, Imagination, to the potpourri of extraordinary music. Imagination is built upon a carrying and pulsating bass line pushing the listener respectively the dancers through the five minute lasting joyride, which is partly interrupted by little filter-breaks to heat things up even more. But it surely is the track's vocal sample and catchy chords that make Imagination one to remember - in the club, on the floor, and around.
