The Polish club scene has most probably never had to deal with such a rapid development of an artist as in m0nczi's case.. Monika fell in love with electronic sounds just 2 years ago - during the first festival she participated in. Back then, she also dreamed that one day she would stand behind the decks and play for people. A year later, m0nczi had her own festival performance - during the Technolas 2020 event. Despite little experience, Monika has already had the opportunity to entertain many respected dance floors and record several podcasts for well-known initiatives such as Radio Kampus, Elektroniczni, Techno Expedition or Tracks Insanas. Recently, she also appeared in the legendary Deep Sesje. Where is her secret? As m0nczi herself says, the passion hit her like a bolt from the blue. She spends most of her time and energy learning the theory and practicing behind the decks, and when the good techno 140+ or her beloved progressive house comes in, she can play all day long. When she's not playing, m0nczi, together with her friend Ewelajna, runs an entertaining channel on YT- "Japa Koniu", entirely devoted to electronic music. Soon, girls are planning to start the first techno radio station in Poland.  And all this is being done by a former flight attendant who stopped flying due to the pandemic and took up something else.

Olly Rowley (Azyr) is a 21 year old upcoming DJ / Producer based in Sheffield In the UK & is looking to make it on to the scene. He is currently exploring the dark and industrial sound of techno & is heavily influenced by artists such as Dax J, I Hate Models & VTSS. Azyr's mixes are driven by energy throughout, powered by forceful bass-lines and dark atmospheric sounds.

In 2021, Azyr has already released his first single of the year ‘The Messiah’ on Critical Revolution Records & has released two EP’s on Insane Industry Recordings & Sub-Terra Trax as well as having more singles lined up for the rest of the year.

LAPSUS RADIO - 352 - Earth Trax

You might have first heard of Earth Trax under his original alias, The Phantom. Or maybe his given name, Bartosz Kruczyński, which he uses for gorgeous ambient music. Or Pejzaż, where he cuts up Polish records from his vast collection. Or as part of Ptaki, another sample-based project he did with fellow Warsaw resident Jaromir Kamiński. You get the idea—dude makes a lot of music. And a lot of it is very good. Earth Trax is the project that really made us swoon, with a soft-focus, sunset-hued meld of techno, breakbeat, progressive house and trance.

On wonderful records like LP1, melancholy is the operative word, but Kruczyński isn't exactly a sadsack. It's more complex than that, nailing the tears-on-the-dance-floor vibe with the part that many people forget: it's still club music. That's why tracks like "Dream Pop," which kicks off this mix, are so successful—they're heavy but never weighed down by emotion, with a skip in their step and a robust low-end to go with the sighing vocals. 

Kruczyński's RA Podcast is something of an excavation of this sound, using his own tracks and those of like-minded producers to sketch out a style that's equal parts rousing and pensive, midtempo but still propulsive. Over two and a half hours he lets these tracks breathe and leisurely mixes them together, almost like an old-school progressive house double mix CD but in the more vibrant, varied clothes of today—before it starts to unravel into an extended, beatless outro that's worth sticking all the way until the end for.

The latest edition of the Warning Mix Series comes straight outta Warsaw and the studio of Bartosz Kruczyński better known under his stage name Earth Trax. The Polish artist made himself quite a name with a steady flow of top notch productions, praised by labels such as Rhythm Section, Shall Not Fade, Aus Music and Les Yeux Oranges.

Julian Determan, aka Mata Disk, is a DJ based in Rotterdam. After leaving behind his former aliases, he has embraced a distinctive sound that blends contemporary club music with ambient and atmospheric elements. Mata Disk’s music celebrates the experimental and boundary-pushing edges of the electronic music.

With two outstanding EPs —"Surrounder" and "Two Sides of the Same Coin" — both released on Nous’Klaer Audio, and a remarkable live performance at Draaimolen Festival, he continues to gain recognition for his immersive and forward-thinking approach to shaping sonic landscapes.
