The virgin idealist bedroom producer is buried, now make way for the 4.0 romantic sound designer! After some appearances on various artists, xl.iks unearths his long-time working debut EP and is ready to win the he@rts all around the world with a stunning piece of corrosive-but-sentimental IDM. Entitled "eoseubnida", this record is the result of all the contradictory passions the Grenoble based producer is crossed by. His bad boy tastes for dark, harsh and noisy stuff coexist in harmony with his emo soul interested in flowers, love and birds. In 5 tracks xl.iks expresses this inner duality : tortured beats are enlightened by mellow synths, outdated video games references are bundled up in HD sound design and the whole piece describes the thin line between reality and virtual world. xl.iks definitely belongs to our hypermodern era except the fact that, facing our uncertain future, he prefers to unsheathe the final fantasy sword of poetry rather than the cyberpunk cynism.

Often leaning towards live performances, Capiuz’s music takes the form of a heavy hitting outburst filled with heavy bass, breakcore progressions and granular textures. He has published with Unizone, Over My Body and Low Income Squad.

For the fourth episode of our mix series we are presenting a mix from T-Data. Within one hour the artist creates an emotional genre bending scenery. Her fluid and precise mixing allows her to go through a large panel of atmosphere and emotions, making each mix a unique experience. 

It is safe to say that few DJs can match the energy brought to you by a T-Data set. Operating since 2013, the Berlin-based DJ and record store owner has made a strong case for sticking to one’s guns in the face of restrictive techno purism, and her guns shoot at a blisteringly high tempo.

Adventurous and genre-fluid explorations have secured her acclaimed appearances at distinguished institutions such as about blank, RSO, Griesmühle, IFZ, HÖR Berlin and The Lot Radio.
