In December 2021, highfield released the first of the two “winter” EPs, at that time still under a different pseudonym. Both of these works were produced exclusively on the SP404A sampler from Roland, which is why they were later combined under the name “SP404 projects”.
At the beginning of 2025, around 3 years later, highfield came across the folders of the two works again while searching his hard disk and decided to remaster them and release a rework version.

After the Wizard and the adventurous Keight spotted the twinkling star, the cliff began to crumble beneath them. With not a moment to spare for both of them to flee from the fragile ledge, the wizard conjured a spell, sending a gust of zephyrous winds that brought Keight to safety. Alas, the Wizard tumbled deep into the cavern's embrace, awakening with a foggy mind and no recollection of the unfortunate event.
As he cast Clairvoyance, he saw the remnants of an ancient sorcerer, clutching a dusty grimoire inscribed with the name "Skully" in ornate letters. Intrigued, he seized the tome and embarked on a journey through the shadowy abyss. The air was thick with the foul stench of decay, suffusing the area with an aura of ill will and malice. As he wandered through the gloom, the wizard felt hope falling through his fingers, pondering if he would ever return to his cherished, humble tower.
