Doomsday Inc. was founded in the fall of 2008 as a side project for the members of Painshock. The original idea was to play Black Label Society covers, but later the band decided to start making their own music after Painshock's activity started decreasing rapidly.

Doomsday Inc. perustettiin syksyllä 2008 sivuprojektina osalle Painshock-yhtyeen jäsenistä. Tarkoitus oli aloittaa Black Label Society -covereita soittavana yhtyeenä, mutta bändi on sittemmin päättänyt siirtyä tekemään omaa musiikkia Painshockin toiminnan hiljennyttyä.
