In 2017 I worked on a game with two other people, with myself comprising the music and sound effects department. The game was sadly never finished but I received a positive response to the soundtrack and therefore decided to refurbish the main theme which I thought was a little underdeveloped.

Sound Of The World

A year or two ago I had a dream in which I drove a car with my two brothers. In the dream, I put on a (non-existent) Gentle Giant CD and the first 20 seconds of this song is what came out of the car speakers, and I laughed because I'd never quite noticed before that it actually sounded pretty damn silly. As soon as I woke up I knew I had to bring the song of my dreams into being.

Flambé

A dark ambient/classical piece dedicated to the Biodegradable one. Ever since I saw Germaine Richier's sculpture "The Shepherd of the Landes" in the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art I've had the idea of creating a dark ambient piece evoking a dark, desolate swamp with one of those monstrosities creeping towards the listener.

I completed this several months ago and planned to include it on my upcoming album before it went a major overhaul. I no longer like this enough to put this on the album but I also don't dislike it enough to have it be lost forever.

Cloistered Embodiment

Possibly my best work thus far. This has caused me a higher-than-average amount of headaches in the 8-9 months from its conception up until its completion but I like to believe that the result justifies it.

I am working on two new albums simultaneously at the moment; neither will be finished before the end of this year but I will try to make sure at least one of them sees the light of day in 2021.
