Description: This is my fifth play through where i'm starting to lay down lyrics that may stick. I know those words from another song i like but i cant place it. I like the sound of the guitar with this monotonous chord shape. ill tell ya, its hard on the pinky. This is still just into my phone as a single track. Ill get into the studio soon and see what happens, maybe even use a beat thing...probably not

As this is called ‘Wordlessly’ I’ll try to keep this brief. http://soundcloud.com/progrockdan1 approached me with this beautiful and unusual piece and I had his melody going around in my head for months with several sets of lyrics on different themes but I found myself drawn to this almost wordless version. http://soundcloud.com/progrockdan1 loved this but felt a female vocal would give more of a sense of dialogue and suggested https://soundcloud.com/lamara-marie, who brought a whole new dynamic to the piece. Behind the scenes, we ended up in a 3-way philosophical debate on the role of communication within relationships. Our communication was far from wordless.

As the the name suggests, me and Cecilia have collabed with this song before (I think this vocal was the first one I collabed with Cecilia and I think it may have been the first collab I made on SoundCloud). Gerald Shaffer Bio.

Founder of the Doonesbury band Gerald is a Canadian musician and writer, producer, and performer. He is 56 years old and lives a rural life in roberts creek bc with his family.

His songs are alternative rock - inspired by southern blues, english blues, rock and roll, trance and 70's 

Today Gerald produces his own music under the Shaffer Music label. He sings and  plays keyboard, guitar, harmonica
