PNW Dreams, listeners are drawn into a deep, atmospheric journey. Subsonic cavernous bass swells ebb and flow, trading places with slap bass and wobbling synth lines, all layered beneath swirling pads and arpeggios that glide like smoke over the rhythm. The percussion is both familiar and unpredictable, with clanging rhythms, heavily swinging cymbals, and high hats keeping a sense of UK Garage cadence while the track dances to its own internal logic. Vocal layers appear chopped, rhythmic, and ecstatic, functioning almost like an additional percussive element, before ethereal lines drift in during the breakdown that could be mistaken for Sade or a similar voice, adding a soulful, dreamlike touch.
