This Is Who We Are

The song combines several genres but the main theme is definitely "witchy" with some sensual undertone. 
It tells the story of the inevitable "devourment" by love, the persecutor of every human being - ego and passion. Deeper thoughts and desires haunt us at night. 
Some people dream or experience a nightmare, while others give vent to their romantic ecstasies. 
What if our nightmares were our inevitable lovers with whom we are forever bound in a dirty pact?

The main idea for the lyrics was inspired by a book „Cycle of the Werewolf” by Stephen King and real theme- narcisstic love. 
How much can we surrender to the beast inside us, and how much will our emotions prevent us from depriving ourselves of the last bit of humanity?
How much can we bear before we lost inside this toxic relationship? 
Every monster was created , not born.

I decided to record this cover to pay tribute to the artist.
I loved this song from the very first listen!
He is one of several artists whose style I deeply admire and who has inspired me to create my own music.
I hope to one day create something as miraculous as this song.
I tried to put a part of myself into it, in the style I love – voice modulation blending Depeche Mode with a “robot” twist at the end.
Post-punk combined with Darkwave – that’s the perfect match for me ;)
