Hi guys, great mothers day show. Just to drop a note for those that did not know -- ambient records came out in 1982 with  i believe 5 albums to represent an updated doowop sound but in the "modern era". they chose the capris, eugene pitt and his jive 5, the harptones, randy and the rainbows amd mystics. it was supposed to represent what doowop would sound like in 1982 if they had all the new equipment. At least this is what i remember. The first song i heard on the Don K Reed show was morse code of love and i knew then it was a doowop song that had all the right elements to be a hit.
