AKOV breaks all the rules and takes us on a 12 minute Journey through the versatile world of drum & bass, with his new track ‘The Exodus’. 

A summary of everything that has inspired the artist since the beginning of his career, AKOV explores previously uncharted territory from Ambient to Liquid, Jungle, Deep rolling, HalfTime and Neurofunk all within the confines of one composition. Originally intended as a soundtrack to a chapter within the artist’s Concept story, previously explored in ‘The Initiation EP; The Exodus accompanies the moment Humanity leaves earth in search of another inhabitable planet, while also symbolically representing the Artists venture into new areas of the Genre.

This is not your average AKOV track” States the artist; “I wanted to create something that demands your patient attention.” “ something that explores a whole range of emotion and isn’t just about Riling people up on the dance floor.” “Drum & Bass is arguably one of the most versatile genres out there and I wanted to pay homage to that fact. It was refreshing to express myself through something that wasn’t just straight Neurofunk, it can become limiting getting stuck in a certain sub Genre and I wanted to showcase my versatility as an artists and person”

Dope D.O.D. is a Dutch hip hop crew that puts strong vocal lines on heavy aggressive beats. The group consists of Skits Vicious & Jay Reaper. Their sound can be described as a new realm of hardcore hip hop with classic styles and Electronic sounds (dubstep, trap, drill) thrown in the mix.

After the release of their debut video What Happened (almost 19 million views on YouTube) their international career took off. Leading to sold out shows and performances at the biggest Festivals in Europe where they've shared stages with Cypress Hill, Method Man, Redman, Snoop Dogg, KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Die Antwoord, A$AP ROCKY, Onyx, Skrillex and Danny Brown.
 
The group also played the infamous SXSW festival in the United States and scored a deal for their first album (Branded) with Duck Down Records. So far the group has won an EBBA award and released 5 albums (Branded, Da Roach, Master Xploder, Shotgunz in Hell and System Reboot) and 2 EP's (The Evil EP, The Ugly EP). 

Now... After not having released an official full length studio album since "Da Roach" in 2013, Dope D.O.D. is taking you back to the essence. With years of experience gained, Months of late nights spent in the studio and a fanbase that keeps growing and remains loyal. "Do Not Enter' is ready to take the world by storm and remind everyone there is no duo doper than the Reaper and Mr. Vicious.
