Made this beat off of the inspiration to make the intro the way it sounds the rest of the beat came together just like that. I have samples of the stove, frogs from Sunnybrae, and Crickets from LA. I'd call this deep house if anything but it is it's own thing, so call it what you want to. It gets me feeling upbeat. Fixed fire because it shows three different levels of the element we know of as fire.

When emotions well up from my solar plexus into my heart, information floods my brain, and the only way for me to breathe is to vocalize it. Took five minutes to record this, and I spent 6 hours mixing it. Song Art by Dope Logic, "The Love Fractal" is inspired by Nikola Tesla, Life, and Love. While trying to understand a Nikola Tesla quote: “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe.” This visual started to come to me over time. I don't know if that's what he meant lol... Works for me!

I spent a total of three years writing and marinating the concept of this album before finally recording and producing it on the night of Friday the 13th, February into the Valentines Day finishing at midnight on the 14th. I spent about 20 hours working on it minus two for family time and four for sleep. 

Though I spent an estimate of three years writing this album, a majority of that time was spent writing "Access Denied" but after that I ended up finding the inspiration to write "Lilac Wine"- a concept I had already started to bottle up in a couple of fresh love experiences - and I learned to only open the Lilac Wine during special occasions.  "Relations Ships A'sailin" is the title track, I had a verse written for it two years ago, but I marinated this concept enough, to have finished writing it in two days. 

This album is truly a good reflection of my experiences and feelings about love and relationships. The first song is about the early emotions of love being fermented into a sophisticated and complex wine, "Access Denied is about rejection to end it. The title track is number 2, "Relations Ships A'sailin" is based on a quote in the movie, "Into The Wild- Life's Joy doesn't come from our relationships but the experiences we share."

Jason, Brandon, and I would all appreciate it. All of us lost track of the amount of hours it took to create the aspects of this album a long time ago while we were still making it. Hopefully that matters to you, because the experience was timeless for us.
