Nous voici arrivés en 1984, après ma série de musique dance des années 80. Il reflète l’air du temps de chaque année et examine comment la musique évolue d’année en année. En 1980, de nombreux éléments disco classiques des années 70 se sont répandus dans la nouvelle décennie. À partir de 1981, c'est plutôt le disco funk et le boogie qui dominent, ainsi que certaines productions post disco. En 1984, c'est devenu de plus en plus électronique et c'était l'année du breakdance (ces pour Julius).

Les dernières chansons de rap old school étaient taillées sur mesure pour les pistes de danse (le rap new school frappait déjà à la porte), le Hi-NRG et la disco pop sous toutes ses facettes se sont imposés avec force hors des charts et dans les discothèques. 

Alors amusez-vous les amis avec mon retour sur 1984.
