Karmaloft Music presents a new 6 track EP from Berlin based artist Stefan Reh. Stefan invites the listener to his wonderful soulblended minimalistic sound voyage. Accompanied by jazzy trumpet sounds played by Urs and the wonderful voices of Kara and Lisa this EP is another masterpiece of german minimalistic Klangkunst. Urs Gögler alias Bildertal and Matthias Freudmann from Dresden&nbsp;brings the cherry on top with their remixes of Way Out here. Once again Stefan Reh crafts 6 amazing&nbsp; minimalistic chilled gems.Mit seiner neuen EP Stefan Reh &amp; Friends entführt Stefan seine Hörer auf eine minimalistische sowie emotionale Safari durch seinen Seelendschungel. Den harmonischen Zuckerguss steuert Urs durch sein wohltemperiertes Trompetenspiel bei. Die zarten Stimmen von Kara und Lisa beflügeln die Gedanken und lassen sie zu einem Spätsommerabend auf dem Balkon, auf Meeresklippen im Sonnenuntergang, in eine Hängematte am Strand, ziehen. Der vierte Track ist eine Ambientversion von Stefan's „way out here”, dieser stellt ein Meisterwerk der minimalistischen Klangkunst dar. Die Reduktion auf das Wesentliche berührt zutiefst und hinterlässt einen bittersüßen Nachhall auf dem Seelengaumen. Das eigens dafür komponierte Klavier durch Johann, gibt dem Ganzen eine sehr gefühlvolle Note. Im letzen Track zeigt Bildertal alias Urs Gögler sein Können und taucht „way out here” in bunte Klangfarben. Durch seinen verspielten Wankelmut kitzelt er das Trommelfell und sorgt für hauchzarte Stimmungshochs. Mit der EP Stefan Reh &amp; Friends gewehrt Stefan ein weiteres mal einen tiefen Einblick in sein vielschichtiges Innenleben und die umfangreiche Bandbreite seiner Fähigkeiten. Wie sich in dieser EP zeigt, stößt die Zusammenarbeit mit Urs auf fruchtbaren Boden und es bleibt zu hoffen, dass beide Künstler diese Base kreativ und klangvoll ausbauen.

The latest Intec release is a special package in honour of a true house classic originally released at the birth of the genre in 1985, and that features two new reworked versions of Chip E’s anthemic track “Time To Jack”.

Created in collaboration with Chip E, the two new versions have been produced by label boss Carl Cox titled “Back 2 Jack” and pay homage to the iconic vocal, which should be instantly familiar to house fans of all generations.

Anyone who has ever watched or read a documentary covering the history of house music will know how influential Chip E’s original was, as many accredit it with being one of the records that coined the term “Jacking”.

Reworking a classic so iconic arguably takes an icon to do it, and working on that logic, Carl Cox is the obvious man for the job.

Starting with a solid kick drum as the track's foundation, Carl's updated version is all around bigger and with a booming sound.

It stays true to the original, keeping the bassline and vocals but also bringing the production up to date with a thickened sound, adding some aggressive modulation to the instantly recognisable bass hook.

Re-recording the vocal has also given it some added presence and really brought out the commanding intensity that many know and love and has done it in a respectful way that compliments a piece of music now over thirty years old.

We have asked some of our dearest friends to remix our biggest tracks to date, creating this 'elrow Remixed vol. 1' series. In this delivery you'll be able to find three of our biggest tracks remixed by some of the hottest artists of the genre. These are Max Chapman's 'Body Jack' - our first #1 track in Beatport's general chart, supported by even bigger names as Carl Cox -, CAAL & Baum's 'Downtown Beat' - a major surprise for us, supported by artists ranging from Marco Carola to Dennis Ferrer -, and Ki Kreighton and Makanan's 'Trivial' - that not only blew Beatport, but also is the most streamed track of the label in Spotify -. For the occasion, we've chosen Franky Rizardo, Nathan Barato and Miguel Bastida to remix each of the tracks respectively, creating an unique blend of monstrous tech-house energy, each with a character of its own, creating an unique VA remix series, to be released next May 25th. For the first release of 2013 we are happy to welcome back the Australian duo Trinity & Beyond. We've had them aboard in 2011 so it was about time for them to return.

Trinity & Beyond is a collaboration between the lovely DJ Trinity and multi talented producer John Tzineris. With combined forces their productions are from an exceptional high level. In 2012, they've had a release on the Pinksilver label and they were also involved in delivering some quality remixes. Their remix for Nadja Lind's 'Brain Candy Remixed' album for instance was featured alongside remixes by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, D. Diggler and Dub Taylor. Trinity & Beyond were in good company to say the least.

Having had quite a nice year it only makes sense for Trinity & Beyond to release another EP filled with new originals. All three original tracks are a perfect blend of moody melodics, groovy basslines and perfect percussion which results in beautiful productions. Additionally there is a remix by Ina Becker, who has made her debut on Cinematique last year. She transforms the title track into an uncompromised dancefloor filler while Australian producer Child slows it down to an off beat deep house version.
