So here it is, our upcoming single ‘For Your Love 2011′.
‘For Your Love’ was originallya song by 60’s outfit The Yardbirds, which was then covered by a German disco band.
We took this German cover as a starting point, recreated the whole thing while trying to keep the 70’s disco vibe. We played the guitar and conga’s, added epic bits and bobs, twisted it, and askedColonel Red to do the vocal parts.
The guys at Defected told us it will be out somewhere mid June.
It will also be featured on our upcoming House Masters compilation, but more on that later.

Paris-born, UK-based producer BIG DOPE P is back with 'Boogie Bass Traxx', a collection of funk-fueled juke, footwork and house tracks recorded, tested and fine-tuned during his 2024 world tour.

On this new EP, the Moveltraxx co-founder BIG DOPE P continues to showcase his instantly recognizable sound following the release of his sophomore album, Toto La Castagne, which racked up millions of streams and quickly sold out on vinyl last year. With Applause V.A. Vol. 2, the Paris-based label continues its exploration of electronic music at the intersection of local and diasporic scenes. Curated by Matteo, this second compilation brings together both emerging and established artists from Europe, Africa, and the diasporas, with a focus on hybrid sounds and boundaryless rhythms.

Equally suited for club play and deep listening, the selection spans a wide range of aesthetics—from bass music to percussive techno, baile funk to Afro-Caribbean grooves. Returning contributors like Artem, DJ Travella, Blck Mamba, Lorkestra, and Hey Bony further anchor the label’s evolving identity, as they become increasingly connected to its booking agency and roster.

“As with the first volume, my aim was to capture a living and moving ecosystem,” Matteo explains. True to Applause’s ethos, the compilation acts as a bridge between diverse club cultures, highlighting bold and personal approaches to contemporary dance music.
