As a London based duo and veterans of the scene, Sentre and their unique style of eclecticism or as they say, ‘specializing in weirdness’ is our focus. Today’s mix encompasses quite a few different genres and embodies a much needed upbeat feeling. The first of a couple of mixes heavily influenced by the amazing music I heard at Warm Up festival in Summer 22.  Lots of synthy electronica, with bits from Jon Gurd, Gheist and Economist amongst others.  Part 1 is at the more chilled end of melodic electronics, heavy on the synths, Part 2 will be a bit heavier and more dancefloor focussed.

This is the first in a series of mixes I am making for the 'significant others' in my life. The mix is a reminiscent selection of tunes that were pivotal to our (John and I's) time shared in music. John and I have been friends since age 5 and we found electronic music together at the age of 11 through an underground radio station in Cincinnati OH (97x). We started DJing together in 1999 at college (Wittenberg) and began accruing a shared record collection. We opened up the record store together in 2001 and had a storefront in Indianapolis until 2007. This mix features a special list of tunes that bring me back to those early years of mixing with John (Seth & Mack was our moniker). We would spend countless hours listening to records together and curating those 'fine' gems that would make the cut and be a part of our mixable tracks. It was a tough cut, haha! I hope you enjoy this mix of nostalgia from the roots of my mixing days with John (circa 99-03). The featured photos is of John and I in roughly 2002 with our wallpaper of rave flyers behind us - the inspiration of these times, and these tunes.

Coming to rest at -Hotel Exile- all alone. Before slipping into sleep a single question comes floating by, -When Does it End?-
	I dream, at least I think it is a dream of -Windom Earle-. We are sitting in the hotel lobby. He is telling me a story of -Mermaid Blues-, it turns out he is really solving a mystery, -Laura Palmer Explained-. He then goes on to tell me I must evolve from -Boyz 2 Men-. As I try and respond, he looks me right in the eye and says, -I Will Never Let you Alone-. As the dream dissipates like fog in the sun I see, -Op. 3-, float by.
	I am -Unconscious-, yet I perceive and feel something inside myself that tells me there is -Chaos in the Cosmos-. I can see it clearly with the -Eyes of my Mind-. I can see clearly, -The Spirit- within. -Punch Up-, this can’t go on forever.
