Mit Doro Freitag besucht uns eine Künstlerin, deren Sets nach Freiheit klingen – nach Trommeln, Didgeridoos, Gitarrenriffs und hypnotischer Magie. Jeder Mix ist eine kleine Reise voller Gefühl durch experimentierfreudige Klangwelten. 🧳

Ihren breitgefächerten Musikgeschmack hört man auch in ihren Sets: Von Organic bis Progressive House, Downtempo, Indie Dance, Nu Disco und Psytechno findet alles seinen Platz. Doch Genregrenzen sind für Doro nur Orientierung – ihre Musik lebt vom Mix, von der Stimmung, vom Moment. Mal lädt sie zum verträumten Abheben ein, mal zum ekstatischen Tanzen ums imaginäre Lagerfeuer. 💃🔥

Bevor sie zur elektronischen Musik kam, war sie tief verwurzelt im Psychedelic Rock und den Oldies der 60er bis 80er. Die rohe Kraft verzerrter Gitarren, kombiniert mit der Tiefe hypnotischer Rhythmen, spiegelt sich heute in ihren Sets wider. Elektronische Musik gab ihr die Möglichkeit, Energie und Atmosphäre zu verbinden und Klangräume zu öffnen, die sich ständig wandeln dürfen – je nach Ort und Publikum. 🌀

An den Decks steht Doro nicht nur, weil sie Musik liebt – sondern weil sie darin einen Ausdruck findet, der über Worte hinausgeht. Während sie beruflich viel zuhört und Raum für andere schafft, wird das Auflegen zu ihrem eigenen Raum: zum Ventil und zur Verbindung – mit sich selbst und der Welt da draußen. ❤️‍🔥
