Wir sind in der letzten Zeit gewachsen. Unter anderem tummelt sich nun Dortmund West-Lachs @Laxberger (@Moynmusik / @Ketoga) im erfrischenden 3D-Pool und haut als erstes Kennenlern-Häppchen einen Techno-zu-House-Mix raus.

The sound of Laxberger is complex and not easy to grasp. Somewhere between wide-ranging minimal spectacles, basses full of endless depths and precise tech-house cuts, he captivates us to forget to go home.. Heads on, heads out, heads down, whatever! Laxberger cares for us. Not intrusive or too clever by half, but empathic, accompanying and creative. His hometown Dortmund plus the tangible influences from his hip-hop background had massive impact on his style even so they never restricted his nature. His sets are variable, open, and full of contrarieties forging a harmonic equilibrium. His intentions are unadapted and demanding. Music as therapeutic remedy to leave the messy world of thoughts behind and yet to answer frequently asked questions with ease. sometimes offensive, sometimes composedly, but always opportunely and geared to the needs of the present crowd. Laxberger kicks in doors so we just have to go through.. See you on the floor!

Biography:

Max Kuffel is a young talented artist with his roots in the early 2000 Minimal and Dub movement.
Since 2008 he is producing music with charasteristics varying from sonorous atmosphere to complex rythms, while always remaining dedicated to the dancefloor.   
The captivating sound ensures an immersive and organic experience with his DJ Sets which will  always feed your feet.
This has also been reflected in the good success of his co-organized events.
Lately his unique sound design led him to his first release on the cologne based Label "Traumschallplatten" in 2019.
He is looking forward to excite thre crowds on his energetic journey.

3D’s Marlon Meggs is a passionate DJ, who represents the faster sounds of the scene. Influenced by several styles such as EBM, Trance, Acid and older Rave records he likes to challenge clubbers with high intensity. Apart from his regular appearances in Dortmund he has proven his skills and selection in clubs like Odonien Köln, Goethebunker Essen or Fusion Club Münster.

Biography:

DISPENS has been active in Dortmund's nightlife since 2015 as co-founder of the collective NORDI IS TO DANCE, with which he organizes underground raves and events side by side with Naath, redredred and Scherbenfeld. 
Today he plays eclectic DJ sets in which he swings his way through a sweaty jungle of acid bangers, 2000s tribal techno grenades, greasy 145bpm trance, breaky electro or fast house tracks. Without genre or label boundaries, but with fun at varied demolition. 
DISPENS also works with synthesizers and drummachines on new tracks, is one half of the live techno duo Disred (together with redredred) and one third of the experimental drone-doom band Nakapan. He also runs the Stream Express 2000 streaming service with Коля and Stotakoj.

Biography:

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

3D’s female member Medea, also known as a designated resident of the renowned Goethebunker Club in Essen, is an artist that devotes all her passion to the sound she creates during her carefully constructed DJ sets. 

The focus in her creations is on the art piece itself and less on the artist behind it, considering music as art in its purest form – as a way of inner self-expression. Transferring this into her music, she challenges the audience with a very emotion controlled, but intimate vibe during her sets.

She first got in touch with the DJ craft in 2015 – quite late in her life in comparison to other artists. A fact that led her dive even deeper and more intensive into the multifaceted spectrum and history of electronic music. At a fundamental level, Medea now finds her inspiration through various influences from several musical experiences and contemporary genres besides Techno, like Trance, Rave, EBM, Dark Wave or Ambient Music. 

An emotion-led performance expertly weaved into a musical variety across most genres, coin the maybe most descriptive term of her sound: unpredictability!

Apart of her usual appearances at Goethebunker (Essen) and Dortmund she proved her adaptability and versatility at several venues from Dortmund to Hannover like Druckluft (Oberhausen), Hotel Shanghai (Essen) or Forum (Bielefeld).

Wer bin ich?
Jan, aus Bielefeld, 35 Jahre alt. Aufgewachsen in D’dorf und mit 14 angefangen Hip-Hop aufzulegen. 
 
Wie sortierst du deine Library?
Digital bin ich zu penibel... Ich hab meine eigene Ordnung und gehe eher nach Klang, Dynamik, Kraft oder Stimmung, nicht nach Genres. Immer was am prägnantesten ist und den Track ausmacht behält dabei die Oberhand. 
Vinyl eher etwas unordentlich.
 
Ärgerst du dich über schlechte Übergänge?
Kommt immer drauf an, wie lange das Set schon läuft und was der eigene Ansporn ist. Darüber hinaus sind auch die Zuhörer ausschlaggebend... Aber mittlerweile interessiert mich der schräge Blick von einzeln nicht mehr groß. Es ist laut, die Ohren werden müde und am Abend sind es ein Haufen Übergänge. Im privaten Umfeld kassiert man mal einen Lacher und muss mitlachen, aber das gehört dazu. Früher hätte ich sonst was getan, um es rückgängig zumachen, aber seit die Leute den SYNC gefunden haben und behaupten, dass sie dadurch auflegen... Ist es für mich mehr oder minder egal geworden, wenn das Ganze, was man liefert nicht darunter leidet. 
 
Wenn dein Sound ein Auto wäre, was für eins? 
Ein Diesel mit fehlender grüner Plakette, überfälligen TÜV, 6 Gang Getriebe, vollem Aschenbecher, dicken Reifen und höher gelegt. Klassisch schwarz... also ein Opel Omega mit dicken Alufelgen hahaha
