Another witcher inspired EP, this time we are making music for the novel "A grain of truth" which is also Episode 1 of season 2 of the TV show, but it is abit different. Anyways, enjoy! This here is the main theme!

A Grain Of Truth Theme

This song started out many years ago as a novelty party spoof on blues. I would ad lib the lyrics and improvise an accompaniment on acoustic guitar which meant no two performances were ever the same. See Retrospection’s Facebook page for a sample.

Recently I decided to do a serious blues rock version and this current track has been inspired by the blues rock style of Eric Clapton and the licks by other blues artists. The lyrics still do contain just a little hint of the mischievous fun from the old party days.

Demo quality grunge pop songs played with an Alesis Nitro drum kit, fender jaguar guitar and Ibanez sound gear bass. With the help of several distortion pedals. All songs recorded on GarageBand unless part of a collaboration.
Songs are played and sung one full track at a time, with very minimal editing. Raw on purpose. Also, I’m lazy. All songs by Dos Gui unless otherwise noted.
