This is me, Kevin Johnson on bass, and Adam Everett on drums.  We were playing in a little coffee shop with 20 or so people hanging around, and it was a ton of fun!  This was our first time playing together, and I thought some pretty cool stuff happened here and there.

In A Sentimental Mood

This is a live recording from the first night of this trio playing together at Prime & Beyond in the East Village.  It's Adam Everett on drums, Yoshiki Yamada on bass, and myself on tenor sax.  It's totally improvised.  It spawned from Adam saying, "feel free to start something, if you feel like it" to Yoshiki at the beginning of the gig.  He started playing a beautiful line on bass, and this track is what followed!
