In August 2023, Jim was diagnosed with leukaemia, shocking everyone who knew him.  Throughout 2023, Jimmy endured unimaginable trials during his treatment, including multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant in the summer.

Jimmy's journey is nothing short of inspiring, a testament to his resilience and strength. 'Warrior' is a humble tribute to his incredible fight—a reminder that he's not just a survivor but a champion. Contributing artists include Swedish legend and Studio Barnhus co-founder Axel Boman, Brazilian trailblazing talent and Solomun favorite Mila Journée, Giegling associate VRIL, UK Rinse.FM resident Kilig, Vivrant mainstay OLING, Correspondent regular DC Salas, as well as Jeremy Olander himself.

Jeremy says: “Leading up to the 4-year anniversary of the release of ‘Steps’ I wanted to put together
something special. To this day, I’m asked to play the original at almost every show, and I wanted to breathe new life into ‘Steps’ by inviting my favorite producers out there to remix it. This project has been years in the making, and it feels amazing to finally put this out and share with the world.”
