Nearly a year on from their Hot Creations debut with ‘I Don’t Need That’, Derby(UK)-based DJ pairing Deltech return to Jamie Jones’ beloved imprint with ‘Funnnk’ on 28th March. Since forming in 2019, Deltech have built a reputation for slick, groove-driven productions, earning multiple Beatport #1’s and releasing on imprints like Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters and Mark Knight’s Toolroom. Fresh off their Repopulate Mars debut with ‘Groove With It’, Deltech now return to Hot Creations with their second release of 2025, ‘Funnnk’, pushing their studio craft even further.

Title cut ‘Funnnk’ stays true to its title with a swinging bassline and a production that’s light and groovy, paired with techy beats and crisp cymbals. On the flip side ‘Funk U Want’ brings probing bass and glitchy scratches, driving a playful, addictive rhythm that stays true to Deltech’s knack for creating dancefloor-ready energy.

A longtime devotee of Classic House, raw grooves, and the swung rhythms of UK Minimal, Dutch artist Nigel Hey has been refining his sound in the studio and behind the decks. A seasoned songwriter with credits on major productions, including Rauw Alejandro’s global hit ‘El Efecto’, which has amassed over 700 million streams, Nigel has honed a solid foundation for his artistic journey. Now, 2025 sees Nigel step onto Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with ‘Bring The Funk Back’, delivering two funk-fueled, groove-heavy cuts primed for the dancefloor. 

Soaked in sun-drenched rhythms, ‘Bring The Funk Back’ bursts to life with sweat-inducing bongo beats and vibrant trumpets, setting the tone for the summer months ahead.
