Bare Up is one of those guys that is just waiting to pop. Everytime he drops a tune, he gets heads to turn and eyebrows to raise, and rightfully so. Sound design is unique and very much on point, and he injects his tracks with a dose of dancefloor energy without ever walking the trodden path. These two are no different. On the one hand there’s ‘I Don’t Want To Fight’ which is an absolute cluster bomb of a track that has it all: captivating vocal, huge synth line, incredible build up and an insane drop that is 100% Bare Up. Then there’s ‘Slow Down’ that showcases how this man can create a power surge with the most minimalist sounds. ‘Fight’ is getting the upload by UKF and ‘Slow Down’ by Skankandbass which marks the difference, and the way they compliment each other beautifully.

Having first graced René LaVice's Device imprint back in the summer of 2020, Bristol-based Halflight returns to the tastemaker label with 'All I Need'. Fast-paced from the get-go, 'All I Need' has all the elements for an epic drum and bass anthem! A beautifully structured piano sequence along with an emotive vocal line come together in monumental fashion. Hailing from Lower Austria, Benedikt Dengler alias Dossa is on a quest to challenge musical conventions. Growing up as a multi-instrumentalist with a background in Sound Design, he stands out as one of the most eclectically influenced producers in the circuit.

As part of the Drum & Bass duo Dossa & Locuzzed, he pioneered a funk-infused niche within the genre, showcasing his affinity for combining funk, jazz, and soul influences with modern bass music and bringing complex musicality to the dancefloor. Now solo, Dossa is pushing the genre’s boundaries even further. His signature sound is both electronic and organic, creating a heavy blend of nostalgia and innovation. This has become a hallmark of his cutting-edge productions. 

Beyond his studio work, Dossa has carved out a reputation for exceptional DJ skills that transcend genre boundaries. Infused with his bootlegs and original productions, his sets take the audience on a journey—one that encourages reflection, embraces life’s moments, and reminds us to step back, feel, connect, and discover.
