lifeline is a track eva and i made in 2021. i made the instrumental in around august-september time, as a part of a larger project. i sent the track to eva around the same time, we then continuously worked on it until around early 2022. its a track we're both super proud of and one that means a lot to us. i hope ya dig <3

It's honestly an honor being asked to remix this - being asked by an artist I look up to, and someone I can call my friend.

What I can ultimately say about this remix is it lends itself to how Stonelands and Modern Euphoric have resonated with me. So the remix managed to naturally land between having the most fun I can while coming from a place of respect that the original song deserves. I think that's all you can ask for while making a remix haha

i made this edit right after i had released my album, writing the whole thing one morning in Vancouver, sitting on riza's family's couch working off my macbook. the original song feels a little bit melancholic to me. when i introduce all this energy, it flips the song on its head and introduces so much euphoria
