Today, we all share a common enemy. This enemy comes in the unpleasant form of mental health issues, the silent pandemic affecting so many, and the societal stigmas that surround them.

James Kimberley tragically passed away after a painful struggle with his mental health. From Worcestershire, James was only 21 years of age. After struggling and fighting a harsh battle on his own, James began asking for help and learnt that this was an act of strength, not weakness. He knew that he was no longer alone on this journey. He grasped that many others have shared or are sharing the same adversity as he did. He wrote passionately about mental health, with the sole aim of raising awareness, educating the young and helping others. He particularly wanted other people to recognise the signs in themselves and he shared his experiences to try to help those in need; men in particular. He hated that, even in the 21st century, men’s mental health struggles are still a taboo subject in some quarters. James’s passing reminds us that mental health problems are real and no one is immune to them at any stage of their lives.

‘Say My Name‘ was created to fulfil a promise to a friend. The message behind this track is the deep connection of friendship that transcends time. A deep thank you to 3000 Deep for making this possible.
If anyone would like to support James’s legacy, Young Minds is a charity that James held dear to his heart.

The track itself is a fabulous showcasing of the blend between big room house and the more tech-inspired side of things, as we hear the legendary ‘Say My Name‘ Accapella chopped and screwed into something extremely different from what we were originally expecting. The vocal lines work perfectly when warped into a more experimental 4×4 flavour, with pitch bends adding a whole additional layer of sonic texture, over the top of some extremely groovy drum design and sizzling synthesizer runs.

‘Say My Name‘ is a triumph of fusion, forging together so many different musical elements to create something incredibly fresh and vibrant. We couldn’t be more honoured to play our part in honouring James’ memory with having this track take its place among the 3000 Deep Catalogue.

Kimbo & Hakasan - Say My Name

was the mid-summer of 2000,when Danny Earth started to explore techno music trought the biggest techno organization in Bulgaria Metropolis.
At that time he had an affinity to trash metal, hip-hop, dark ambient and psychedelic trance.
After a couple of years of basement parties, mixing psychedelic and techno sounds, he turned to electronic sound and bass beats with melodic vocal stream.
He spent the summer of 2005, playing at beach bar “Elephant” at Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. 
In the following years he played at various underground venues. True inspiration for him, at that time, was the techno and house sound, mixed with trance and brazilian beats.
He landed at London and in 2010 became a representative Dj for Groovy Imports and U-Turn. He had gigs at many locations around the capital and performed together with James What, Lukas Greenberg, Alex Amount, Chris Stanford, Le George, Nikon, Danile Gilligan and more. 
His first remix, called “Nina Kraviz- dotech remix" and his first deep-electronic-tech-ambient remix "Nicolas Jaar -the student dotech camcapa remix" had a good success.
At present he works over his “Hope dj mix series”, which he wants to devote to more goodness and love on Planet Earth.
His unique combination of minimal techno,IDM and deep soul sounds makes his sets and live performances special and inspirational for the audience whit 
minimal,deep,tech house,deep house,nu-disco pop electronic,nu-jazz,deep mutant experimental electronic loop whit brazilian streems and souful deep vocals plus happy punpin funky house.
His sounds can not be missed!
