What started off as a simple guitar jam is now a full on guitar arrangement! This is my first big project with my new equipment, so I am very happy to share this one with you guys! Thank you so much for waiting and I hope you enjoy what will be the first of many big things from me.

The Smile Anthem

I am incredibly excited that this is the first song I am ever posting to my BandCamp, SoundCloud, and my YouTube. Hope you all enjoy it. 

This is a song I’ve been wanting to do for quite awhile as it is a tribute to my dog, Gypsy. I wanted to post it on Christmas day since this last Christmas was more than likely the last one we'll get to have with her. She has had cancer for quite awhile and it’s starting to take a turn for the worse. This is basically from my perspective as I see what it does to her as she starts to wind down, heartbreaking as it is. 

I don’t normally write stuff this dark or serious but this one I really needed to do, and so I want to dedicate this song to anybody else who has had to watch a pet they loved go through this. 

Gypsy, you have been nothing short of amazing all these years and I love you with all of my heart. I hope this song at least somewhat helps make nearing the end of your road just a little bit easier for you. :)

Burning Bright

This is a song about why I make music in the first place: the only thing that rivals the joy I personally get when I come up with a new song is sharing it with others. I feel like it’s an artist’s duty to try to inspire others and share that kind of fire that drives us to create. To the end of time, it’s a passion we need to pass on from one to another.

I can’t think of any other pony who better represents that idea more than Rarity! I instantly fell in love with the season five episode “Canterlot Carousel” and was inspired right away by its message. This song is dedicated to any and all who feel the passion to create art that they love.

This track is going to be part of a future pony album I’m cooking up right now, so I hope this gives you a pretty good idea of what’s on the way. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think!

This is a song heavily inspired by “The Cutie Mark Chronicles” episode from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic's first season. It’s about Applejack realizing that while Equestria is completely open to her, a life back at home with her family and friends is where she feels she belongs. I personally believe that she is a mare who because of her hard work, she could’ve gone on to do something huge out there in Equestria, but to stay back at home with those she loves and find true happiness there instead skyrocketed my respect for her.

This is a blues rock track about the feeling of actually achieving your dream at long last and wondering if there is anywhere to go from there; the hope for a new chapter. I can't express how proud I am of Rainbow Dash, and I feel this is just the beginning of even greater things for our prismatic horse.

End Of The Line

As some of you know, we had to bid farewell to Nightmare Nights. It was an incredibly draining week, both emotionally and physically, but I think we gave the convention the sendoff it deserved.

In fact, I got the thumbs up from the con heads to write a little “theme song” for the con itself! This was performed as part of my set at the Friday night concert, and it was a ton of fun!

As heartbreaking as it was to bid farewell to such a special convention, I felt like this would help with our last hurrah. Hope you guys like it!

To the staff of Nightmare Nights itself, thank you for an amazing five years. You guys have helped change my life and getting involved with the con itself with panels, meetings, and performances after Year One was been an honor. You guys have become great friends of mine, and as a friend of ours said:

Inspired by the "Buckball Season" episode of MLP, this song is what I came up with after I heard Snails singing a quick little jingle. This tune takes that cute jingle and treats it like Snails has made a journey across Equestria with those buckets of water. His journey is done and he's back home now in Ponyville!
