I'll explain why I made this remix and how much Madeon and his music mean to me.

I am Danish, but I have spent ¾ of my life in the French school system. I lived in Lyon when I was young, but after a few years, my family and I moved back to Denmark. Back in Denmark, I stayed in the French system, but after I finished my patent (2012), my parents wanted me to go to a Danish high school. It was an exceedingly difficult time in my life. The Danish school system was hugely different to me; the school day structure, expectations, the way Danish students behave socially ... I was having a hard time adjusting.
The only good memory from that period in my life was that I would hide during lunch breaks and when I had free time, put on headphones, and listen to good music. I was listening to a lot of daft punk and somehow, I clicked on a YouTube video that was recommended. It was a video for the song"Icarus". It was the first time I had heard Madeon's music, but it was not the last.

The joy and happiness that his music gave me were reflected in me and in the way I behaved, and it made the transition from the French school system to Danish, more manageable as I could always go back and listen to his music if I had a bad day.

In short, his music had a huge impact on me and my life, especially “Icarus” and so it felt natural to come back on a day when my production skills were good enough, and give my touch to “Icarus”.
