Echoing notes, tapping sounds, happy beat starts up, all is well. The echoing sounds continue but the beat keeps it all glued together. There is also a maritime aspect here, the tidal flux, waves tapping a wharf, and so on.

In the hidden shadows of the night, under the soft veil of darkness, strange souls gather to share their secrets in hushed whispers. Their words dance through the air like wafts of mist, barely audible to the ears of the normal, but to those who are willing to listen.
They are lost in the folds of time, the keepers of the music that slumbers between the lines of thought. Their voices are like the whispering of the wind, the rustling of leaves in the forest at night. They whispering in the Dark.

My intention for this mix was to use the sounds and effects and inspiration of Dub as a means of remembering our Shamanic roots. Using Reverb, Delay and Echo effects of Dub to replace the lack of vocals and a focus on stripped back percussion as the replacement of shamanic drums, I’ve mixed electronic repetitive beats, with sounds, songs and vocals of music that I use in a ceremonial setting. The idea being to build a bridge to, and introduce sounds that were created with the specific intention of connecting to the spirit world.
