FLR061 shines a light on "Philodiffusione", a lost gem written & produced back in 2015 by @piercarlo-giachetti (a.k.a Piqquallo) & Giacomo Brunetti (a.k.a. @pinol). The Italian musicians and producers started their musical journey playing new wave and rock in Florence clubs throughout the 80s, then shifting to electronic, underground, and dance music in the 90s. Giacomo and Piercarlo collaborate together in various live projects and groups like "Filesister" and "Alien Skids".

The electro-fusion track Philodiffusione draws inspiration from “piped music”: thematic music channels which are used by supermarkets, shops and public offices, usually at a low volume, ensuring that the frequencies mix in with the sounds of the environment in which they are transmitted. The root of this track comes from an electronic sample by Giacomo Brunetti, where various types of sounds are then inserted to give the sensation of being in various environments, alongside a voice which projects Giorgio Gaber’s famous phrase: “television has the strength of the lion”.

It’s an honour to finally release this beauty on Flumo Recordings, ten years after its creation, alongside 3 fresh remixes and reworks by the Neapolitan artist The Mechanical Man a.k.a. @tmm82, the exceptional Sevillian artist @digitaldiogenes from Industrias94, and the collaborative project NIAN (@user-271202046) by two producers closely related to Flumo & Anma Records.
