TOR and the When We Dip team proudly continue the label’s signature release series with the third edition of the Tales of Romance VA. As we continue to set the foundations of TOR’s sound and creative direction, this series showcases the pillars of the imprint in the years to come, and provides an explorative platform for our family of producers.

Rashid Ajami makes his TOR debut with our A-side on the project- Music is my Medicine. Through work with the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Atjazz, the Londoner has built a sterling reputation with releases on Get Physical, Einmusika, Anjunadeep, and Tale & Tone. A meandering piano melody opens the show, as the synth lead and bassline build to welcome a vocal offering fit for the times.

We are delighted to finally reveal a solid staple in our mixes, the much awaited follow up from P.M Project, remixed by afro house master Jackson Brainwave. The man is an accomplished artist, with releases in the best afro house music labels, and having penned seminal records like "Hear The Drums" on MoBlack, among the others. The mix is heavy hitter with a cumpulsive rhythmic section and the evocative vocals from Ahini. Labels honcho Luyo delivers a mysterious and romantic version, accompaning the vocals with a beautiful acoustic guitar riff.
