This is our arrangement of Lorde's hit song, "Royals," performed with Jackson Laskey on piano. It's the only cover on the album, and we had a lot of fun recording it. DoubleStop is a collaboration between singer Charles Dolph and bassist Ethan Philion. The two met while undergrads at Oberlin Conservatory and College. Dolph and Philion have performed as a duo across the U.S. They've also led several larger bands. Their debut album, self-entitled Double Stop, will be released in mid-November and features original compositions by Philion and Dolph performed with other Oberlin Conservatory musicians.
