Reminisce back to the 90's underground Hip Hop and R&B scene... This mix was was a little difficult for me, because I kept wanting to play all the lyrics in the verses, but at the same time I wanted to put as many songs in the mix as possible... Back in the day when we were at the party with our cup filled up in one hand, and the other hand in the air bouncin' to classic joints like these, we would just be vibin' to the lyrics. Lyrics back then had a lot of meaning and passion, and the DJ better not cut the song in the middle of the verse... or he might get fucked up!!!
