After her mammoth remix of Will Clarke’s ‘Let’s Rave’ in 2020, Patrick Topping invites London-based DJ/producer Ammara back to his unstoppable Trick imprint, this time for a collection of three killer original productions. 
Title cut ‘Acid Fantasy’ leads the release, with its distorted vocals and crunching low-end custom-built for dancefloor mania. ‘The Trip’ takes a dip into the late hours, offering hypnotic basslines and bombastic stabs over robust drums, flipping samples from a well-loved cartoon into a future rave classic. 
Closing cut ‘Havoc’ ties the release together with pumping bass and energetic synth work, adding the final touch to an outstanding first EP of no-holds-barred stompers. A testament to both the production skills of Ammara and to Patrick Topping’s knack for A&R alike, ‘Acid Fantasy’ is certain to remain in crates of party-starting selectors for years to come.

Following releases on Nina Kraviz’s Trip, UNCAGE, and Suara, the Existentia boss brings his hard-hitting techno stylings to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects, delivering three fast-paced, high-energy cuts for his first appearance on the label.

Demonstrating an innate knowledge of intensely lively and direct techno, Flug flexes his production muscles across the EP. ‘AR0  (Original Mix)’ sees constantly evolving FM tones and crisp drum machines interlink for the duration, winding through a series of additional percussive flair and eerie, hypnotic pads.

‘AR01 (Jacking Mix)’ flips the original mix on its head, introducing shuffling chopped breakbeats to the mixture alongside steady machine drones and FX hits. ‘AR02 (Original Mix)’ takes a deeper turn, with hypnotic, filtered hits and sizzling 909 kits taking the forefront, rounding out another impressive release from both Flug and Rekids Special Projects.

The most active Duo in Luxembourg established their name for over 20 years as DJs and Producers locally and globally with their unique signature sound and fast paced rhythm as they have released on other respected labels such as Say What? And also AUTEKTONE Dark.

Netty Hugo delivered for AnalyticTrail the 2 Trackers EP as each track shows a different taste, The Scope opens the release with a fast paced rhythm softer kick that controls your heart beat while vibing with the dreamy plucks.
Hardwired on the other hand follows the same rhythm as the first tracks but with pounding beats.

On March 2020 the world was abruptly thrown into collective disarray. The pandemic stopped almost everything dead in its tracks. No social gatherings, self-isolation, a sense of panic and bewilderment prevailed. An industry that had become so dependent on human connection and unity, was suddenly switched off and put on pause for an unforeseeable future.

It was in this climate that The Louder Than Chaos project was born, facilitated by Soma Records’ head honchos and Techno protagonists Slam. A collaborative project with friends, colleagues and contemporaries normally only seen at airports, or events, now brought together under a completely different set of circumstances, allowing for a purposeful connection in a time of disconnect. The focus of the project is built on a powerful mutual participation, remotely constructed over time and fully intended for holding court on peak time dance floors when they inevitably return. That time has now finally come.

The Louder Than Chaos project is a series of 5 releases, on 12 vinyl” & Digital, to be released monthly via Soma Records. Featuring collaborations between Slam & Hector Oaks, Slam & 999999999, Slam & Keith Tucker (AKA Optic Nerve), Slam & Amelie Lens, Slam & Rebekah, Slam & AnD and finally Slam & Perc.

Each EP features specially commissioned artwork from German based artist PPP Panic, which consolidates into one constructive piece over the 5 releases.

Opening Volume 1, Slam pair with Italian rave starters 999999999 for Conveyor. Arguably one of the hardest tracks in the project, both artists combine to unleash a furious and twisted acid techno stomper. Madrid born, vinyl enthusiast Hector Oaks is next up, joining Slam on a proper, attitude filled techno excursion with Pathfinder; its heady melodic elements mask a driving and potent track. Detroit originator Optic Nerve helps Slam to close out the EP with the Motor City electronics of Machine Conflict. Early Slam influence mixes perfectly with the Detroit native’s unique electro sound.
