Unleashing more from my archive, the CD-Rs spins tales of eclectic beats and timeless grooves. In the 90s, I frequently visited Thailand, especially Koh Phangan Island, in a very specific bay where I always stayed at Pong's resort. Pong was a cool guy. One evening, I even DJ'd with the CDs lying around. I fondly reminisced about those times and mixed a vinyl lounge downbeat compilation, recording and burning it onto a CD. During another trip to Thailand, I gifted one to him. That chill and slow vibe was also how we kicked off our Groovalistic parties. Maybe not quite as laid-back, but we always started with groovy downbeats before ramping up the energy. So just enjoy, have a nice trip.
