The tour had come to an end, flipping the page full of adventures to a new chapter. A reel of vivid memories still lingered like developed film — a palette of experiences left behind only to be relived later with fresh intensity. For now, it was time to start the journey back, toward the lively home where colourful streets were waiting for their people, and vinyl shops were begging to be filled with new discoveries.

— Can’t wait to crack open a cold lager. Lambics are not my thing.
— I just want my pyjamas and a proper sofa sprawl.

After grabbing a few souvenirs, Needle and Plate headed for their flight. Coming back saturated — that’s what really means you feel the moment, the one that reignites your taste for life.

This was a project I managed to revive from 15 years ago. I had mixed feelings Revisiting those old, tweaked settings inside the project file. Kind of haunting... like meeting a past version of myself, but also freeing. The track is ethereal and atmospheric; I concentrated on giving the mix plenty of air without overcrowding with FX. Long ago, the music came to me watching a sunrise with a friend, so surreal and beautiful, we were hallucinating wonderful things together that couldn’t last. What a wonderful day this is! Why? Because our Long-awaited collaboration: Juuz and Friends 3: Dubøka arrived !

Dubøka Records – one of the oldest and coolest families in the underground scene – joins forces with us for a release that feels as natural as it is exciting. Our musical styles not only align, but many of our artists have released on both labels over the years. This project is a celebration of that shared history, built on mutual respect and a love for timeless grooves.

After years of supporting each other from afar, we decided to go arms-in-arms and create something special – together. And to make it even more meaningful, we're meeting this summer in the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain, the place that also inspired the album cover.
