Six, count 'em, six! boogie bangers 

So you've just dropped 'Never Too Much' at the request of that pesky group of well meaning keen beens at the front of the dancefloor. Here are a plethora of tracks that you can follow it with. 'Love You Too Much' is basically an ode to the aforementioned classic, with it's silky Vandross-eque vocals courtesy of XXX. Production-wise Ziggy Phunk has absolute nailed that classic 80s sound, more so than any producer we've heard recently. Away from the smoocher we get 'Alone Without You' which is more like a Fatback Band anthem, looped up percussion, big synth stabs, slap bass, digital horns and a sweet jittered female vocal to boot. All perfect for the Connoisseurs Corner at the Southport Weekender. rate: 9/10

Hailing from the coastal Swedish city of Malmö, Sune steps forward to provide a fourth EP for Lorca’s Live Ones. With his Mimosa Kuriosa EP he serves up 5 masterful disco and soul inflected rhythms that’ll hit all the right spots. 

Having previously provided his signature sunshine grooves for Better Listen, Kyoku and his own Honey Butter imprint, Sune is fast building a reputation as a prolific purveyor of funk. 

The EP shows off Emil Sunesson’s ear for playful samples and infectious grooves. Dusty, heady drum programming features heavily across all five tracks, employed subtly on the laid back ‘Bring Some Tea’ while unleashed to devastating effect on the upbeat ‘The Way U Make Me Feel’. 

There’s something for everyone on this versatile, enigmatic EP from a talented young producer that we’re sure you’ll be seeing plenty 
more of in time to come.

Interflow EP is the second studio EP by English producer Joe Newham on Houseum Records, released under his stage name Gavinco. The album's musical style is described as a synthesis or musical library of electronic sounds incorporated with the acid jazz instrumentation.

This EP is a collection of five tracks starting with the hypnotic yes transient track 'Much Love' with the singer Abela. The second track 'Regards' brings up the motion in the EP. That takes you on a tropical yet tantalizing trip with the solo piano riffs and arithmetic glockenspiel.

Third is 'Interflow' with the long lasting journey of muted trumpets and saxophone riffs that are accompanied by the live instrumentation of drum and bongo. We then move on to the fourth track 'Movate', this track pushes you back out into the dance groove with the heavy live bass recording that has been incorporated into the old school electronic 4/4 house rhythm.

Finally we finish with the bonus digital track 'Imagination' with the upbeat disco drum pattern and lavish ballroom style of house music.
