Fireground's Love Letter EP on the legendary techno label Tresor delivers a dynamic journey through the realms of early 90s techno and house fusion. On Side-1, 'The Element' ignites the dancefloor with its big, rave-inspired sounds and UK rave influences, while 'Riva' seamlessly blends high-energy house and techno, punctuated by catchy melodic moments. On Side-2, 'Love Letter' takes the listener on a deeper voyage with its mid-90s warehouse vibe, exuding a late-night atmosphere with subtle disco undertones. Closing the EP, 'Etereo' serves as a perfect end-of-the-night track, enveloping the listener in its atmospheric soundscape. Emmanuel is back in full-form on his own label Darkmatter Inc. " If Only" and "Stamina" are the result of a one single shot Jam based on some " ingredients" found during experimentation, while "Confession" and " Once in a lifetime" are a way more studied work that takes the listener to a new dimension of sonic sounds palette, making the user wonder if he ever heard something like this, or not.

Phantasy approaches it’s landmark hundredth-single release with another impactful single from one of the label’s key artists, James Welsh. Regularly played by producers from Midland to Charlotte De Witte, Welsh’s masterfully dense take on techno and electronica reaches new complexities on ‘Pan’, without ever-sacrificing his singular industrial groove.

The title track is a tunneling electroid roller layered informed by complex conversations seemingly taking place between man, machine, ghostly human speech and a veritable wind tunnel of noise. Perhaps Welsh’s finest connection yet between the blissful and the ruthless, ‘Pan’ demands submission.

On ‘Sink’, Welsh builds yet another perfectly-executed club weapon around an imaginative spoken-word sample, loosening up the tension of it’s more severe partner with a lucid and rhythmic trail of wide-eyed electro.

Founded over a year ago by Adam Morrin (Adamant) and soon joined by good friend Niall Healy, Doubleu has dramatically grown from a small ambitious idea to a well established group in the electronic music scene.

Holding various parties and offering an array of music for your listening has always been first priority for Doubleu.
Booking acts such as Stacy Kidd, Liem and our very own local and talented producers has built a solid reputation for a great time, with great music and all while showing love to producers who may just not get the chance somewhere else.
