Moravie grew up in the brutalist concrete neighborhood of Cité des Etoiles in the heart of France's Jeux Valley, listening to postpunk and new/cold wave and devouring romantic gothic literature that mixed macabre and erotica. She is also passionate about the movie Melancholia. Passionate about movies and passionate about Lyon's underground music scene, she has been aspiring to become a DJ for 6 years. Moravie's dark and mesmerizing musical aesthetic is inspired by occult and controversial literature and cinema: Octave Mirbeau, William Seabrook, Gabriel Wittkop / Luis Buñuel, Jess Franco, Mario Bava, Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento,... The sounds of Between Eros and Thanatos wander in an atmosphere reminiscent of The Cherished Garden, a rainforest of strange and hostile beauty. The rhythms are dark and sexy. Bodies become moist in a ghostly dance. And suddenly, a battle binary..... collapses onto the dance floor A cold shiver runs through the body. At that moment, light and shadow intertwine. The rich heritage of Mexican and South American darkdisco and EBM can be heard here. It is close to his heart to draw attention to a new EBM scene that fully responds to the current political oppression, considering the anger of life and music as the most revolutionary actions that unite and unite the masses.
