Although it's called No Ring, the first track of maud's self titled debut's chorus certainly has a ring to it. The glimmering open sequence breaks quickly into who maud believes can put on the North while respecting who has paved the way. His playful wordplay consistently builds with every bar.

With a west coast flare, the second track of maud's EP features braggadocios lyricism while he imagines what it would be like buying the old Bentley Continental of former NBA star, Scottie Pippen. It was on a used car lot in a neighboring city to his and although a 60 thousand dollar finance would have put him in the drivers seat, he knew he would spend that in repairs.

The third track, @ Labels, is a no holds barred against the industry that puts artists on. Maud shows us that he knows his way around a contract and will ensure that he won't get shammed in his music career.
