this is played on a renaissance flute, a cylindrical bore in maple not unlike a Chinese flute.  Its claim to fame is having survived falling off the back of my motorcycle - falling off at 70 miles an hour on a freeway - falling off on a freeway over the course of 15 miles - not to be found until the next evening in rush hour traffic something caught my eye, which fate would have me turn around and return to - it calling for me.

At Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church when members depart for other places we send them off with a blessing, and if you in the choir you get four part harmony.  This is sung antiphonally, first choir then with the congregation.
