Doug Beverly, is among one of the many sparks of influence in the new era of Canadian artistry and creative direction. The Toronto native takes from, and blends various genres from his upbringing such as: Alternative Rock, Hiphop, RnB and Pop. From early on, Doug has always been an avid writer, having started with poetry as early as 2006. “This love for writing developed into a passion that I utilized as an outlet for my soul to speak; since then I’ve been coming up with new ways to share my craft”, says DB. With the help of his contemporaries, Doug created a network for himself to grow in, having founded Reigning Studios, a multifaceted creative space in Toronto for developing Artists. After years of working on his sound and being a tastemaker to the local scene, The Doug Beverly Band looks to continue creating moments in time for people for years to come.
