The Smizak family goes crazy while cooped up; collectively pacing like a panther in a cage. Newspaper clippings flood the hearth... humans drinking too much during covid, on-line shopping and gun sales sky rocket. Meanwhile the worshipping of counterculture demigods who pride themselves on their lack of reality quickly pans out to a not so distant dystopia. Silas, recognizing his parents pathway toward insanity, escapes his household's chaos by stealing the car only to get as far as the back yard via the alleyway. "Fuck it", his expression gloats. Let's burn it all down and begin again... starting with the first thing within reach.
