This track took a few turns on me as I originally wrote the bridge with the fragile line. Then the chorus came and I had to try to tie the two together. It then became somewhat personal with the verse which was not at all what I had imagined when I started this piece. 
Verse:

When Terry @tea_are_sea asked if I'd be interested in collaborating on this track, I jumped at it. Listening to his synths, guitar and beat took me to another dimension, a nostalgic place. I immediately came up with the simple lyrics a little organ accompaniment and some beeps that I thought sounded fitting. I then had the idea of adding the chiptune, which Terry expanded on further. I really had a blast working on this one and we hope you enjoy!

I've nearly finished the "Shards of Earth" project. Idris, the navigator, penetrates the mind of an Architect but struggles to make his pleas heard. It's like a ant trying to attract a human's attention. For Idris, it is a nightmarish and nauseating experience. There's no eye in the book, but I thought the image gets the point across!

The vocal effect is my voice through a reverse reverb guitar pedal, with a choral effect, and a massive RAUM reverb from Native Instruments. The synth drones were sculptured from Native Instruments' Massive X plug-in synth. 

Guitar: ESP MT1 with a pedal array as close to Killing Joke as I could manage....
