Initially meant to be a short 4-songs EP, written in March, BeatsNBars quickly took on a life of it's own. It went from me challenging myself to see if I can put together some bars over a beat to it being a testament of where and who I am right now. If Awakening was me waking up to who I can/want to be, BeatsNBars is me stepping into that role officially.
Written by Dougie Vee, inspired through the music production of Black Mumble and the sound engineering ingenuity of BigPhil, this project is the culmination of our collaborative efforts as Awaken Music. And a stepping stone to even greater things.
