From the sunny sounds of Miami and Ibiza, to the arena anthems of the circuit, to the backroom grind of a packed leather bar -- Doug seamlessly weaves many diverse influences into a smart, sensuous house style all his own.
Doug builds a connection with the dance floor beat by beat, curating inspired mixes that tell a story. Mixing progressive, techno, and tribal grooves with big room vocals and deep bass rhythms from around the world, he lives to fill the floor, keep you dancing, and give you something new – from fresh tracks he’s just uncovered to classics reimagined with fresh ears.
A student of music and sound from an early age, Doug started spinning professionally in his teens, hosting a daily Ohio radio show at 16, assuming his first residency at a teen disco one year later. He spent seven years as a recording studio sound engineer, evident in the meticulous production you’ll find in both his live shows and his popular podcasts.
Now based in South Florida, Doug has headlined signature events including Fireman’s Ball at BearWeek Provincetown, FurBall in New York City, BearDance at TBRU Dallas, Bearheat at IBC Palm Springs, and many other gatherings and club dates from Atlanta to Copenhagen. He maintains a monthly residency for the Trouble party and appears frequently at clubs in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and other cities around the world.
