Chris Mager, UK producer known as Kurus, from Surrey, currently living in Nottingham. He's come on most listeners' radar this year when he released some collaborations with up and coming artists. "This EP has been my most time consuming work, starting in July, creating loads of different tracks and considering loads of different sounds, but ultimately finishing with these 4 tracks, 6 months later, that I am very happy with. It’s been difficult finding the time as music is really just a hobby for me, but Im so thankful its finally all come together.I wanted a hip hop / r&b / electronic feel and think I have achieved this. sad alex came to record in my apartment and immediately had a chord progression in her head that ended up becoming the foundation for the song. We both sat and talked to learn about each other and found out we had many shared experiences in life - one being worried about someone you can't care for any longer.

As she wrote on the feeling and I kept producing and after recording the session was over. We both wanted to make something extremely close to home while also having enough energy to cry and dance at the same time. I tried a few separate ideas and eventually felt lost in the production because the right idea hadn't come within the first, second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth try. Over a month after recording, the final sound came through and completed the song.

This song is very personal to both of us because even though it speaks volume in production, the lyrics are real emotions we've both experienced in different capacities. sad alex is also one of the most talented musicians I've had the pleasure to work with and made me step up a lot of the time to try and keep up with how well she works. Her writing is impeccable and her ear is unmatched.

Thank you for working on this song together - as I'm listening again I'm brought back to the session and even the moments and emotion in my life that the song is written about.
